We buy books
We’re building a circular economy for kids’ books, where stories get passed along, not tossed aside.
We offer up to 30% of the resale value (in cash or store credit) for select titles and series in excellent condition.
Note: Limit to 30 books per buy-out visit
Books can be dropped off during any of our open hours or you can coordinate a pick up with us. Simply email lindsay@midsummerbooks.com to schedule.
We take donations
We know how hard it is to keep kids’ bookshelves under control! If your shelves are overflowing, we happily accept gently used children’s and teen books, from board books to YA favorites.
Bring them in and help keep great stories in circulation for new readers.
We accept donations of all kids and youth books. If for any reason they do not fit into our curated selection we will either:

Add them to a little free library

Donate them to a local youth organization or hospital
