Taking a page from the classic school book fair (you know the one), we’re turning the entire shop into a give-back weekend.
For three days, shop anything in the store—books, gifts, kids resale, and more—and let us know you are here to support Alexander Adaire PreK–8, and we will donate 15% of your purchase proceeds to Friends of Adaire.
So whether you're picking out your kid’s next favorite read, grabbing a gift, or finally buying that book you've been meaning to read… it all adds up to something bigger.

Buy a book a classroom actually needs.
We’ll have curated wish lists from Adaire teachers so you can directly support learning in real time. Every teacher who shares their wish list with us will have a special section of titles you can shop in the store.

Make library donations
Help us fill the library shelves with fresh new titles
We have the list of the most wanted items for the school library. While you are here, purchase books to donate, we will deliver them to the store the next week and then watch to see when your kid brings home one of the books you helped supply!

The details and FAQs
This is a 3-day, in-store book fair fundraiser hosted by Our Mutual Friend. From May 8–10, 15% of the proceeds of all purchases—including books, gifts, and resale items—will be donated to Friends of Adaire to support Alexander Adaire PreK–8. Visitors can also shop teacher wish lists and donate books directly to the school library.
While you're in the shop, be sure to pick up a Bingo card!
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Nope—just stop in during shop hours Friday to Sunday, May 8-10
Does everything count?
Yes—storewide purchases are included.
How do you track donations?
Just let us know at checkout that you're supporting Adaire. We are using a special code internally with purchase to track which purchases count toward the fundraiser. We will share the full amount raised on social media.
Can I donate without shopping?
You can always donate to Friends of Adaire! For this event, you don't need to do any personal shopping, you can simply purchase books for classrooms or the library. We will have a special section of the shop filled with the wish list items for both the library and participating teachers.
