About the event
In this interactive writing workshop for ages 9–14, local horror writers Laura Parnum and Nicole M. Wolverton will talk about how stories help us explore fear and courage. Participants will take part in one or two creative writing exercises inspired by creepy dolls and other mysterious objects. Attendees are encouraged to bring a small object from home that feels strange, mysterious, or a little spooky, and we’ll build original stories around those objects.
This workshop focuses on turning fears into powerful stories. Perfect for young writers, readers, and anyone with a big imagination.
