About the event
Dr. Sarah Gulish and Dr. Kat Reinhert are educators, songwriters, and co-founders of Songwriting for Music Educators, a movement dedicated to helping teachers and artists see themselves as creators in today’s music industry. Sarah is the CEO of F-flat Books, a fair-pay publishing company amplifying diverse voices in music education, and a former public school teacher turned Professor of Music Education at West Chester University. Kat is a performing songwriter, recording artist, and Professor of Songwriting at Berklee College of Music, whose work bridges the classroom and the stage.
Together, they’ve guided countless musicians through the practical and emotional process of sharing their work publicly. Join them for a special book release event celebrating How to Release Music, where they’ll discuss the inspiration behind the book, share insights from their step-by-step roadmap for independent artists, and perform live.
